Bali Get-A-Way With Storets
ARRIVED!
After a 24 hour flight, Michelle and I finally arrived in Seminyak, Bali. We had a beautiful villa at The Samaya resort along the beach to catch up on some extra relaxation, vitamin C and a side of banana pancakes.

First things FIRST. Nothing beats jet lag like a cold dip in the pool.
Off to explore the town in this LBD!
We did a few laps around the premise of the resort and loved how beautifully curated the grounds were. So many cute photo spots. They kept these original Balinese temples along the paths.
Nalu Bowls!
There's NO such thing as a good Acai smoothie bowl in New York City. I came to Nalu Bowls last time I was in Bali but this time I tried the pitaya bowl (dragonfruit) because they were out of Acai. However, I didn't complain. This pitaya bowl was the best thing i've tasted this year. Swear. It was dragonfruit smoothie topped with fresh mango, banana, goji, coconut, bee pollen, and house made granola.
That night, we decided to venture to the famous La Plancha Beach Bar for sunset drinks. It was beyond magical. The photo below doesn't do the view justice. I recommend this place for chill vibes, killer sunsets, and deep house music lovers.
Off to UBUD!
We left super early to make a stop at Balangan Beach. Blanagan was more than beautiful and unique. It definitely wasn't the type of beach where you sit and relax, but the view is worth a stop.
A day at the rice terraces in UBUD. Definitely wear sneakers, bug repellant, and get there before 8:30AM. We got there at 8AM and left by 8:30. Once the sun fully rose, it was suffocatingly hot.
Extra recommendations: Bring cash for restrooms, you'll need. Wear workout clothes. Bring your own water bottles from resort.
After the rice fields we visited the traditional Balinese markets. Our driver gave us a full tour.
Our next resort was Como Uma Ubud. It was perfectly placed in the middle of Ubud set back in the jungle. The vibe was super relaxing and quiet. This is the main pool.
Our villa had a beautiful little coy pond right in the courtyard when you walk in. It was the perfect place to shoot this nude romper.
Getting lost in the jungle.
I can't get over how good and fresh the food is in Bali. For breakfast we had whipped egg white omelets with poached tomato, vanilla passionfruit coconut french toast, and fresh coconut water. I will never understand why food can't taste like this everywhere.
Unfortunately, it rained half of the time while we were in UBUD. However, we made it work in between showers and took advantage of the dark scenery and shiny surfaces.
Finally, a hint of SUN at our private pool at our villa.
Listening to the silence of UBUD. What a short but surreal trip Bali was. I was so lucky to go back there with Storets after visiting only last year. Shop the post below! <3
